A global experience needs an architecture to match.

The starting point was a single payment service provider. The evolution called for greater resilience, more room to optimise acceptance and relevant payment methods in the markets where fans are.

The challenge

Grow without adding fragility.

The operation needed to support an international fanbase, multiple currencies and a payment experience available when customers were ready to buy.

The work

A migration designed around operations.

We designed the transition from a single PSP to multi-PSP orchestration, adding automatic failover and local payment methods. Delivery was shaped to protect service continuity.

The outcome

More ways to operate and accept payments.

The new architecture expanded currency coverage, built redundancy across providers and supported improvements in churn and declined-payment indicators.

Metrics shown in the case proposal. Client anonymised.

What changed

More control at critical points in the payment flow.

Resilience

Automatic failover helps respond when a primary provider has an incident.

Local relevance

Payment methods reflect the preferences of each market.

International reach

The operation supports more than 100 currencies within a connected architecture.
